My family owned a boutique real estate and development firm here in California so I grew up in the business of real estate . After coming back from Europe and my banking career I went back into my family firm to focus on the impact of technology and social media impact on our business. and also to expand our offering to global investors. We did partnerships with Jameslist , Mansion Global and other digital partners as the new world of online real estate transaction was emerging. Eventually we merged our family company with Sotheby's which had their data services managed by Reacology that could provide a platform of global digital services to run the business..
The Real Estate sector is now being impacted by the use of streaming media, ai , digital escrow a, digital signature and the use of blockchain . My focus has always been to protect and empower the client and firm with the use of the best methods to sell or acquire real estate integrating the use of technology . I completed an entire transaction for a client in the middle east using docusign nd other digital solutions that were not available years ago. The world is now available to buy and sell properties so the ultimate goal is to be the trusted partner to enable and protect a transaction.
The next opportunity is web3 " Metaverse" for digital real estate . This market is emerging and because of my relationships with technology leaders in the space I can expand a clients portfolio to explore these transactions for their family office oer personal portfolio.
Since covid I have slowly returned to the real estate sector but will try to be fully engaged by the Fall of 2023.
